Official MSME Classification
Zero-fee, completely paperless single-window registration for classification of MSMEs in India.
Key benefits
- Free of cost registration with no government fee or renewal requirement.
- Paperless and automatic integration with Income Tax and GST networks.
- Lets micro and small manufacturers and service providers use the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs (25% annual procurement target for central ministries, departments and CPSEs).
- Concession on trademark registration, patent fees, and electricity power tariffs in many states.
Basic eligibility
- Micro: Investment in Plant & Machinery <= ₹2.5 Cr and Turnover <= ₹10 Cr.
- Small: Investment in Plant & Machinery <= ₹25 Cr and Turnover <= ₹100 Cr.
- Medium: Investment in Plant & Machinery <= ₹125 Cr and Turnover <= ₹500 Cr.
- Limits as revised by Notification S.O. 1364(E), effective 1 April 2025.
