Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises
Provides collateral-free credit guarantee to financial institutions lending to Micro & Small Enterprises.
Key benefits
- No third-party guarantee or immovable collateral security mandated by lending banks.
- Guarantee coverage ranges from 75% to 85% of sanctioned credit facility (higher for women, SC/ST, and aspirational districts).
- Covers both Term Loans and Working Capital facilities from scheduled commercial banks and select NBFCs.
Basic eligibility
- New and existing Micro and Small enterprises as defined under MSMED Act.
- Must have valid Udyam Registration.
- Retail trade and educational/training institutions subject to specific bank and CGTMSE cap guidelines.
