MSME ODR Portal for Delayed Payments
formerly MSME Samadhaan
Lets micro and small enterprises file delayed-payment claims online against buyers, corporates and PSUs. New claims are filed on the MSME ODR Portal, which replaced MSME Samadhaan for new filings.
Key benefits
- Statutory mandate under Section 15-24 of MSMED Act requiring buyers to pay within 45 days.
- Online negotiation and conciliation first; disputes not settled online go to the State Micro & Small Enterprise Facilitation Council (MSEFC) for conciliation and arbitration.
- Buyer is legally liable to pay compound interest with monthly rests at three times the RBI bank rate.
Basic eligibility
- Supplier must have valid Udyam Registration prior to the date of invoice/contract.
- Only Micro and Small enterprises qualify (Medium enterprises excluded under Chapter V of Act).
- Supply of goods or rendering of services must have mutual agreed terms or standard purchase order.
