Choosing a lender

Bank or NBFC: which may suit you?

There is no single right answer. It depends on the product, your profile and each lender's policy. These are general tendencies, not rules.

A bank may suit when

  • You need regular working capital (CC/OD) or a larger term loan
  • Your financials, GST returns and banking history are in order
  • You can offer security or qualify for CGTMSE cover
  • Cost of borrowing is your main concern

An NBFC may suit when

  • You need a specific product, such as machinery or unsecured business loans
  • Your profile does not fit a bank's criteria yet
  • You value a different documentation or processing approach
  • You understand the cost may be higher than a bank loan
How it works

How we work with lenders for you

    Understand the need

Amount, purpose, cash flows, existing loans and security available.

  2. 2

    Shortlist lenders

Banks and NBFCs whose products and criteria suit your profile.

  3. 3

    Prepare the proposal

CMA data, project report and documents in the format lenders expect.

  4. 4

We coordinate with the lender through appraisal to sanction and disbursement.

Every lender does its own appraisal. We do not guarantee sanctions, rates or timelines.

FAQ

Questions about our network

Are you an agent or channel partner of these banks and NBFCs?

No. We are an independent advisory firm. We work with these institutions when presenting our clients' proposals, but we are not an agent, channel partner or representative of any lender.

Can you guarantee a loan sanction or a particular interest rate?

No. Every bank and NBFC does its own appraisal and decides the sanction, interest rate and terms. What we do is help you choose suitable lenders and present a complete, well-prepared proposal.

How do you decide which lender to approach?

We look at what you need the money for, the amount, your financials and banking history, the security available and each lender's products and criteria. We explain the options; the final choice is always yours.

Can I approach a bank directly instead?

Yes, always. You are free to apply to any lender yourself. Many businesses come to us for help preparing CMA data, project reports and documents, or for a second opinion on the options.

Do you work with lenders that are not listed here?

The lists on this page are indicative, not exhaustive. We work with 20+ banks and financial institutions and 50+ NBFCs.

Interest rates, fees and terms are set by each lender and change over time.
